Field Team Staging Coordinator
Checks in volunteers, confirm trailer sizes for teams deploying to field operations, works with a check in coordinator to confirm the number of resources and types available. Tracks records and documentation for calls.
Check In Coordinator
Welcomes volunteers, manages check in and check out, and directs team members to their assignments.
Dispatch Liaison
Coordinates field teams, relays assignments, and tracks team status during HEART activations.
Equipment Technician
Issues, receives, and organizes equipment needed for animal response operations. Maintains that all equipment is in good working order.
Field Ready Technician
Checks vehicles, trailers, and equipment before HEART teams deploy. Reports to the Field Team Staging Coordinator.
Decontamination/Biosecurity Specialist
Supports decontamination procedures for responders, equipment, and animals during emergency operations. Maintains biosecurity throughout the shelter.
Supply Coordinator
Coordinates supplies, equipment, and volunteer resources to support HEART operations.
Animal Care Director
Manages all animal care operations, supervisors and intake volunteers.
Large & Small Animal Care Supervisors
Assists with animal counts, housing availability, feeding estimates, and care supplies.
Computer Technician
Supports mapping, incident information, and computer systems used during animal response.
Intake Specialist
Assists with animal intake, documentation, and placement at designated shelter locations.
Staging Area Specialist
Organizes staging areas, signage, and traffic flow for safe and efficient operations.
Mission Set Up and Tear Down Teams
Help prepare, organize, and restore HEART operational sites and equipment.
