Nevada County is now offering a pre-registration form to help our community prepare before a disaster strikes. Completing this form strengthens our readiness and supports a faster, more effective response for your pets and livestock.

• Reduced Data Entry: Pre-registering significantly reduces the amount of data entry required during the high-stress start of an emergency.

• Better Coordination: It improves the continuity of information from the initial evacuation through sheltering and eventual reunification with your animals.

• Easy Information Retrieval: During an actual incident, when a service request is created or an animal is brought to a shelter, we can simply select your pre-registered animals from a list, saving critical time.
